Website monitoring service that crawls the sites its customers monitor, checking for broken links, mixed content and sitemap validity, and that also verifies outgoing links found on a customer's site, which is why it reaches pages on third-party domains. Oh Dear documents that it throttles itself and follows robots.txt by default, honouring rules written for the OhDear token, though a customer can switch "Respect robots.txt" off for their own monitor. Every user agent it sends starts with OhDear.app and links the feature page explaining the check, and Oh Dear publishes the fixed list of monitoring servers it runs from.
